ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEOS

Some of the best music videos are animated music videos.  Some of my faves are:

How To Be A Millionaire-ABC

Runnin' Down A Dream-Tom Petty

Take On Me-A-Ha

What other ones can you think of?

The first one that came to mind was Money For Nothing-Dire Straits.

I don't remember the "official" name of the song, but I think it was by Green Jelly about the 3 little pigs.  It was sort of a metal song.  It wasn't a very good one, but Venom already mentioned Dire Straits.

Three Little Pigs is the official name of the Green Jelly song.  Great video.  If you want to see a "so bad it's good" video (non-animated), check out Green Jelly's "Cereal Killer" video.  Youtube has it.

Never seen the Primus one, might have to check it out.

Yeah, Money For Nothing is a great vid.

Thanks, retro.  I couldn't remember the name of that song to save my life.  I reckon it was too obvious.

You bet, Rebel.

Also, I liked The Motown Song by Rod Stewart.  Seeing an animated likeness of Michael Jackson moonwalking into an open manhole was quite amusing.

Don't Answer Me by the Alan Parsons Project was a great one (IMO.)

The ending to the story in Take On Me video can be found at the beginning of The Sun Always Shines on TV video. (How about that?)

I've recently found myself downloading 80's music videos off youtube so I can watch them whenever I want.  Completely silly, but totally true. I miss the days of MTV actually playing videos.  (Last time I watched MTV was maybe 1990?)

Bedrock Anthem by Weird Al is hilarious.A parody of Under The Bridge and Give It Away by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
